Travel Registered Nurse OB GYN Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – OB/GYN, travel assignment in Hanford, CA. Start date: 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,237–$2,311 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Night shift schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 3x12-hour shifts in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for OB/GYN patients according to the nursing process and standards of care.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across levels; coordinate with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
- Collect pertinent data, analyze assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
- Document care and clinical information in the electronic medical record (EPIC); ensure accurate and timely charting.
- Collaborate with the care team, patient, and family to maintain a safe, healing environment; delegate and coordinate duties as appropriate.
- Demonstrate readiness to support Labor and Delivery recovery and assist with cesarean section deliveries as needed.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required; ACLS required; NRP required
- EPIC experience required
- BSN degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of recent OB/GYN or acute care nursing experience
- Ability to work night shift and participate in a 12-hour shift schedule; capable of supporting L&D recovery and cesarean deliveries as needed
