Medical Technologist

Role: Medical Technologist responsible for performing accurate laboratory testing, analyzing proficiency samples, and managing patient result documentation. Key Duties Perform timely laboratory tests and stat procedures within established turnaround times. Assume departmental responsibilities in supervisor’s absence. Review pending logs, resolve workload issues, and communicate with staff as needed. Ensure quality control procedures are followed and handle critical specimens/test results. Utilize good judgment and independent thinking for interpreting patient results. Qualifications & Skills Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist preferred. State of Florida Technologist License or ability to obtain one. License in clinical specialties such as Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, or Microbiology; Generalist preferred.
