Litigation Associate | High-Stakes Commercial, Media & Entertainment Litigation

Our client, a premier litigation boutique, is seeking exceptional Litigation Associates (1-6+ years of experience) to join its nationally recognized practice. This is an opportunity to work on some of the country's most high-profile defamation, First Amendment, media, entertainment, and complex commercial litigation matters alongside market-leading trial lawyers. The firm represents Fortune 100 companies, technology leaders, investment firms, professional sports organizations, media companies, entertainers, journalists, and high-profile individuals in reputation-critical disputes. Associates regularly work on matters that shape national headlines, advise clients before stories are published, and litigate precedent-setting cases involving free speech, media law, business torts, and complex commercial disputes. Role & Responsibilities: Develop litigation strategy through legal research, case-building memoranda, and thematic narrative development Draft motions, briefs, demand letters, and other substantive filings in complex litigation matters Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trial Engage directly with Fortune 100 executives, founders, investors, public figures, media organizations, and entertainment clients on high-stakes matters Assist with pre-publication counseling, reputation management, and strategic communications involving publishers, broadcasters, and digital media platforms Handle matters involving defamation, First Amendment issues, media law, entertainment disputes, and complex commercial litigation Collaborate closely with partners on nationally significant litigation from inception through trial Take meaningful ownership of cases in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Skills & Experience: 1-6+ years of litigation experience Federal judicial clerkship strongly preferred (U.S. Court of Appeals preferred, District Court also considered) Litigation experience at a leading law firm or elite litigation boutique Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills Strong academic credentials, including an excellent law school record Ability to develop strategic case theories beyond purely doctrinal analysis Excellent interpersonal skills with the maturity and judgment to advise sophisticated clients under pressure Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-performance environment Experience in plaintiff-side litigation, appellate litigation, First Amendment, media, entertainment, defamation, or complex commercial litigation is a plus, but not required Highly competitive compensation with production-based upside Clerkship credit provided for qualifying judicial clerkships Direct mentorship from nationally recognized trial lawyers Early case ownership and substantial client-facing opportunities The opportunity to work on nationally recognized, precedent-setting litigation with sophisticated clients across the media, entertainment, technology, and financial sectors Location: Candidates should be local to the area or willing to relocate #J-18808-Ljbffr Intelletec
