Associate Scientist, Post Doc Fellow- Quantitative Biosciences Early Discovery

Postdoctoral fellowship in quantitative biosciences focused on chemically induced proximity and drug discovery. Candidates will design and execute research using biophysical, biochemical, and computational approaches to investigate protein interactions and advance early-stage drug discovery under senior mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute novel methodologies to interrogate chemically induced proximity systems under senior mentorship
• Integrate biophysical, biochemical, and structural techniques to investigate macromolecular complexes and protein interactions
• Develop independent research agenda from hypothesis generation through mechanistic validation
• Collaborate with computational teams to integrate modeling workflows with experimental investigations
• Communicate research findings through internal presentations, conferences, and lead-author publications

Requirements

• Ph.D. in biochemistry, biophysics, pharmacology, structural biology, or related discipline (or completion by spring 2027)
• Hands-on expertise with quantitative biophysical methods (SPR, ITC, MST, BLI, fluorescence assays)
• Proficiency in recombinant protein design, expression, and chromatographic purification
• Working knowledge of biological NMR spectroscopy and/or structural biology techniques
• Ability to analyze and interpret protein structures using molecular modeling software
• First-author publications and conference presentations demonstrating scientific productivity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with collaborative mindset

Compensation: $82,000-$92,000
