Our clients include Private Equity, Middle Market, and Fortune 500 Companies in a variety of industries. BrightCore is seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant for a client in Atlanta, GA. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity. The client requires 2 days in office/3 from home. Target permanent compensation is $90 -$120k Salary depending on the level of experience. Position Responsibilities The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day and recurring accounting functions, including: Preparing and posting daily, monthly, and recurring journal entries, including accruals. Recording and reviewing high volumes of financial data, including credit card transactions, banking activity, and other general ledger entries. Performing bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. Maintaining and monitoring fixed asset tracking. Assist with the monthly close process. Partnering with internal teams to coordinate accounting matters and improve processes. Leading special projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad hoc tasks as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Minimum of 4+ years of relevant accounting experience with 2 years min experience in public accounting preferred OR MS degree + 2 years of experience CPA designation or progress toward certification strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data-entry work. Solid understanding of accounting concepts and financial statements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with accounting software. #J-18808-Ljbffr BrightCore
