Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGateway Preschool and Technology Center is looking for experienced, full time teachers to join our team. We provide high-quality education preparing young children for kindergarten.RESPONSIBILITIESCreate plans for daily activities in line with the school curriculumEngage with young children in activities that are age-appropriate while bearing educational meritFoster a positive and healthy learning environmentEnsure the classroom is kept in a clean and safe condition at all timesRead stories to the children as a group activityEncourage creative thinking and learningInteract with other teachers and administrative staff as neededCommunicate with parents regarding child development and progressQUALIFICATIONSPrior experience working in Child CareMust pass a background checkStrong knowledge of educational techniques and methods for teaching young childrenPatient and supportive approach to the learning processEnthusiastic and encouragingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to stand and move around for long hours at a time while teaching\nCompany DescriptionGateway Preschool and Technology Center is located in Prairieville, Louisiana directly behind Lake Urgent Care on Hwy 73.
