The ideal candidate is intellectually curious and can challenge our current processes to be more proactive, effective, and efficient./ppResponsibilities include:/pulliEarnings Call Preparation: Develop an understanding of the Auto lending industry, and partner with stakeholders to prepare the materials for senior leadership for the quarterly Capital One Earnings call/liliQuarterly Assessments: Analyze economic and industry trends to assess their impact on Capital One Auto and refine financial forecasts in collaboration with business leaders/liliStrategic Business Partnering: Work closely with teams across Capital One Auto to understand their strategic initiatives and determine financial implications/liliAd-hoc Analyses: Lead critical analyses that deepen your understanding of auto lending and provide insights/li/ulpYoull be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas:/ppCustomer Focus:/pulliWork backwards from what the leadership team needs to deliver on their goals/liliWork with the business and credit risk management to deliver Quarterly Assessments for originations and losses/liliPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual Reporting and Analysis/liliHelp drive the preparation for the quarterly earnings call responses for the Auto business/li/ulpData Driven:/pulliUnderstand all of the data that is key to your business line and how to analyze it/liliUnderstand and leverage the econometric driven originations and APR model in conjunction with the PA team/liliAnalyze complex financial information and reports to support accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes/liliMonitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance/li/ulpWell-Managed:/pulliIdentify areas of opportunity in your role to drive efficiencies/liliImmerse yourself in your processes to understand all of the moving pieces and second order impacts/liliAssess alternative options, leveraging technology and automation/li/ulpTeam Player:/pulliTeach and learn from all of your team members/liliReach out to subject matter experts to learn more about each business line within Auto/liliShare your knowledge with others on the team/liliBe willing to help others on the team when challenges arise/li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pulliBachelors Degree or military experience/liliAt least 2 years experience in financial analysis/liliAt least 2 years experience with financial modeling/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliBachelors Degree in a quantitative major (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering) or military experience/liliSQL and Python skills/liliExperience in financial services, banking or technology industries/liliExperience partnering with senior leaders and internal stakeholders/li/ulpAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position./ppThis role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend 3 days per week in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting./ppThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked./ppPlano, TX: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Financial Analyst/ppCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter./ppThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
