The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in the Energy oil and gas sector. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, journal entries, and financial statements. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. Responsibilities: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks. Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP and company policies. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management on trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings, SEC reporting, and other financial reporting requirements. Collaborate with other departments, including operations, legal, and finance, to ensure that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is Preferred At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on the Energy oil and gas industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience with month-end close processes, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
