Senior Accountant

Addison Group has partnered with a growing publicly traded manufacturing company looking to add a Senior Accountant. This will be a very hands on role taking on a range of financial activities from day-to-day accounting to high-level strategic business decisions. It is a highly visible role that involves daily interaction with executives. Responsibilities Heavily involved in the month end close process with the preparation of recurring/ad-hoc journal entries, balance sheet adjustments, allocations, and reversals Consolidate financials, prepare supplemental reporting packages Ensure completion of all inventory and manufacturing controls Understand and explain manufacturing variances in the monthly P&L Support subsidiaries on accounting matters including but not limited to month end close activities, developing SOX controls Reconcile and monitor high risk liability, intercompany and accrual accounts Manage account reconciliation process, including tracking, publishing and distributing daily metrics throughout the reconciliation periods Collaborate with internal and external auditors, and work with stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of auditors’ data requests Conduct variance analysis/commentary on financial statements and financial presentations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
