Senior Staff AccountantLHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an established organization to hire a Senior Staff Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will support financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, cash management, tax compliance, audits, and internal controls.Key ResponsibilitiesLead assigned month-end and year-end close activitiesPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsAnalyze account fluctuations and resolve discrepanciesManage bank reconciliations, cash activity, wire transfers, ACH payments, and NACHA filesPrepare sales and use tax returns and support other tax filingsPrepare audit schedules and respond to internal and external audit requestsMaintain compliance with GAAP, SOX, and company accounting policiesImprove accounting processes, procedures, and internal controlsPartner with cross-functional teams on accounting and financial reporting mattersQualifications5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environmentStrong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reportingExperience with ERP or accounting systemsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and XLOOKUPSOX compliance and internal controls experience preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and work independentlyHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detailEmployment Type: Full TimePay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
