Environmental Protection Specialist

Overview This position is located in the Environmental, Safety, Healthy, and Energy Division at the United States Mint in Denver. As an Environmental Protection Specialist, you will ensure the Denver Mint complies with current laws, regulations and ordinances regarding chemical products that are considered hazardous and serve as an advisor to management on environmental and hazardous chemical product issues. Requirements You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience Specialized Experience for the GS-12 requires one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
