About the Role:
Join Quantum Towing LLC as an Accounting Bookkeeper in Kyle, TX, where you will play a vital role in managing our financial records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing company in the towing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
• Collaborate with management to improve financial processes.
• Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
• Tow Driver Commission Programs
• Audit completed tow tickets. 
• Verify completed jobs before payroll processing. 
• Ensure all commissions are properly documented. 
• Review payroll reports for accuracy. 
• Investigate payroll discrepancies. 
• Prepare payroll reports for management approval. 
• Maintain and update QuickBooks records daily. 
• Create and manage customer invoices. 
• Process vendor bills and payments. 
• Reconcile bank accounts. 
• Reconcile credit card accounts. 
• Review general ledger accuracy. 
• Maintain chart of accounts. 
• Generate monthly financial reports. 
• Assist management with budgeting and forecasting. 
• Ensure QuickBooks records match operational records. 

General Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and fuel cards.
• Track revenue streams and assist with monthly financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account balances.
• Support budgeting and cost tracking (fuel, maintenance, labor).
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements (balance sheet).

QuickBooks Management

• Maintain and update QuickBooks records daily. 
• Create and manage customer invoices. 
• Process vendor bills and payments. 
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts 
• Maintain chart of accounts. 
• Generate monthly financial reports. 
• Assist management with budgeting and forecasting. 
• Ensure QuickBooks records match operational records. 

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities

Customer Billing

• Apartment complex billing. 
• Police department contracts. 
• Municipal contracts. 
• Commercial fleet accounts. 
• Insurance companies. . 
• Cash customers. 

Collections

• Monitor aging receivables. 
• Follow up weekly on past-due accounts. 
• Prepare and Maintain collection records. 
• Coordinate payment arrangements. 
• Reduce outstanding balances. 

Performance Goals

• Reduce aged receivables. 

Improve collection percentages.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations is a plus.
