Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative The Whole Pet Vet Hospital & Wellness Center is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. Schedule and compensation: Compensation: $ 22 - $26 per hour, for each hour worked This is a full-time position with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday through Friday. Full-time Benefits Package*: Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance with choice of United Healthcare or Kaiser Permanente Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k with company match starting in 2027 Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law *Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law Minimum qualifications and skill set: Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience required Fear Free Certification or willingness to become certified Proficiency in the following skills: Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations Strong organizational and time management skills Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods About us: The Whole Pet Vet Hospital and Wellness Center in Los Gatos, CA is a modern, progressive practice offering integrative care including rehab and acupuncture.
