Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be during normal business hours.Primary ResponsibilitiesWork with patients and hospital staff to manage MyChart release requests and submit necessary documentationWork with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providersProvide assistance with work queues, including billing operations, MyChart-related tasks, and the maintenance of release task listsPrepare and scan incoming mail, email, and faxes into patient chartsThis is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive, and thoroughly dealing with our members over the phone and in person.You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GEDMust be 18 years of age OR older1+ year of customer service experienceFamiliarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applicationsAbility to work full-time onsite at 4773 State HWY 28 Cooperstown, NY 13326Ability to work from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - FridayPreferred QualificationsExperience working within the health care IndustryExperience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft OutlookPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
