Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and experience with various accounting software systems. Duties Process and verify invoices for payment in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments to vendors. Scan and maintain financial documents in electronic storage. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Utilize QuickBooks accounting software. Provide assistance with accounts receivable functions when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in accounts payable is required. High-level proficiency in QuickBooks is required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
