The Opportunity

This is a full-time, independent contractor position in B2B direct sales that combines consultative selling, relationship management, and ongoing client service. You'll meet face-to-face with business owners and employees within your local territory, helping them understand benefit options and guiding them through enrollment decisions.

Representatives operate as independent contractors, offering flexibility in how you manage your schedule and develop your client base, while still receiving structured support, training, and leadership guidance.

This role is ideal for individuals who have some professional experience and are ready to build a sustainable career in outside sales.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with small and mid-sized business clients
  
  
  

• Conduct in-person meetings and benefit presentations for leadership teams and employees
  
  
  

• Recommend supplemental coverage solutions based on client needs
  
  
  

• Support enrollment, follow-up, and claims-related questions
  
  
  

• Maintain accurate records using Salesforce CRM
  
  
  

• Prospect through referrals, networking, and scheduled appointments
  
  
  

• Collaborate with leadership to set weekly and long-term goals
  
  
  

• Track and report activity while managing an assigned territory

Compensation & Structure

• Commission-based compensation with performance bonuses

 

• Agents average $70,000 - $90,000 annually
