The University of Texas Medical Branch seeks a board-certified Thoracic Surgeon to join the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. This academic faculty opportunity offers the autonomy to build a broad clinical practice while helping shape the division’s next phase of growth. You will provide comprehensive thoracic surgical care, collaborate across specialties, and work with advanced robotic platforms, including single-port technology.The position also provides meaningful opportunities to teach residents and thoracic fellows, participate in scholarly activities, pursue research interests, and develop a distinct clinical or academic niche. The incoming surgeon will join an established service with the support and institutional resources to expand referrals, strengthen programs, and advance multidisciplinary care.
