Job Description

The Assistant Controller will be a key member of the finance team, partnering closely with the Regional Controller to drive accurate, timely, and high-quality accounting and financial reporting across the business unit. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to expand their expertise, gain broad exposure to the business, and build a strong foundation for future financial leadership.

In this role, you'll have a direct impact on the integrity of the company's financial reporting-supporting critical close and reporting activities, strengthening accounting controls, and ensuring financial information is accurate, reliable, and compliant. You'll also have the opportunity to identify improvements, solve problems, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of the finance function.

What You'll Do

Financial Close & Reporting

• Prepare and execute key month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and analyze general ledger activity to ensure account balances are accurate, supported, and complete.
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, management reports, and reporting deliverables.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies, unusual variances, and reconciling items to ensure timely and accurate resolution.

Accounting Operations

• Partner with the BPO team to execute accounting activities, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of month-end close deliverables.
• Support key accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, supporting documentation, and audit-ready accounting processes.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including GAAP/IFRS, and support accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support external audits by preparing audit-ready reconciliations, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Help maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and supporting documentation to promote accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Process Improvements & Special Projects

• Document accounting processes, methodologies, and key controls to promote consistency, accuracy, and audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, documentation, and internal controls, and help drive implementation of solutions.
• Assist the Financial Controller with financial analysis, special projects, and other initiatives that support the evolving needs of the business.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Public accounting, external audit, is preferred.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software, such as SAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• CPA, CMA, or progress toward a professional accounting certification is preferred.

Additional Information

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000-$110,000 annually. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.

In addition to base salary, full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's (US) Health and Welfare Benefit Plans-including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance-as well as the company's 401(k) plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective plan documents. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's paid time off and sick leave programs in accordance with applicable policies.
