Duties

• Operate and monitor weaving machines to produce consistent, high-quality fabric according to specifications
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the weaving process to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
• Assist with materials handling, including loading raw materials and managing finished goods packaging
• Support other manufacturing activities such as sewing, screen printing, or machining as needed
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Maintain accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and quality checks

Experience

• Prior experience in manufacturing environments, especially with weaving or textile production preferred
• Knowledge of sewing machines and sewing techniques is advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and troubleshooting is highly desirable
• Familiarity with quality inspection standards and procedures within a manufacturing setting
• Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
• Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating comfort with inventory management and logistics
