POSITION DESCRIPTIONPosition Title: Dishwasher Department: Food & BeverageSalary Range: $16.00 Reports to: Food & Beverage DirectorEmployment Status: Seasonal FLSA Status: Non-ExemptPOSITION SUMMARYThe Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment. This role ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards and health regulations. A reliable and efficient dishwasher helps maintain smooth kitchen operations and contributes to a positive guest experience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIESWash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand.Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area and kitchen workspaces.Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas and ensure proper disposal.Assist with basic kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed.Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines according to state and company standards.Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.Adhere to company policies, including attendance, safety, and professionalism.Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum age of 16 years of age.Good communication, reliability and punctuality.Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATIONHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred.EXPERIENCEEntry level position, prior restaurant experience is not required to function efficiently in this role.TECHNICAL SKILLSKnowledge or ability to be trained in kitchen equipment and maintenance. The employee understands that a 90 day performance evaluation will be conducted to discuss job responsibilities and performance requirements.
