Accounts Receivable Specialist

To support a growing dermatology network, the full-time remote Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage day-to-day billing, resolve claims issues, and ensure timely follow-up on unpaid claims while collaborating with a professional team. Key responsibilities Identify and resolve claim denials with minimal assistance while analyzing trends related to denials and payer issues Prepare and submit corrected claims, appeals, and necessary documentation to payers, ensuring accuracy of patient medical information Communicate proactively with management regarding accounts receivable issues and provide administrative support as needed Required qualifications High School graduate or equivalent; education in medical billing or certification preferred Experience with Mod Med/EMA practice management system is a plus Understanding of revenue cycle principles, accounts receivables, denial management, and medical coding (CPT/HCPCS/ICD10) Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment Strong integrity and confidentiality in handling medical information
