Job Responsibilities

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Pinpoint patients' specific needs and craft tailored therapy plans to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Approaches: Employ evidence-based methods to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living capabilities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in harmony with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide well-rounded, integrative care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Share knowledge and therapy techniques with patients and their families, fostering ongoing development at home.
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor patient outcomes diligently and modify treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for additional education or postgraduate certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a requirement
