Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through meticulous interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Work in close partnership with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focussed clinical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Possession of current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
