Job Summary
We are seeking a Tooling Engineer Harness to own and scale the enterprise Harness platform and SDLC toolchain. The role requires strong expertise in Harness, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, cloud architecture, API integrations, and platform governance .
Key Responsibilities
- Own Harness architecture, configuration, RBAC, governance, and roadmap .
- Build reusable CI/CD pipelines, templates, GitOps workflows, and deployment strategies .
- Manage Harness CI, CD, STO, SEI, and CCM capabilities.
- Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, container, and secrets scanning into pipelines.
- Define DORA metrics, engineering governance, and policy-as-code standards.
- Drive cloud cost visibility, optimization, and FinOps/CCM initiatives.
- Own SDLC toolchain integrations across GitHub/Atlassian, artifacts, testing, and source control .
- Establish safe and governed use of Generative AI in engineering workflows.
Required Skills
- 10+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or architecture.
- Strong Harness / enterprise CI/CD platform ownership experience.
- Pipeline-as-code, RBAC, secrets management, and DevSecOps.
- Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture .
- REST APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architecture.
- DORA/engineering metrics and policy-as-code.
- Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated environments .
- Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills.
Preferred
- Harness STO, SEI, or CCM experience.
- OPA/Rego , FinOps, PCI DSS, IAM.
- Generative AI/agentic engineering experience.
- Java, .NET, Go, or Node.js.
- GitHub or Atlassian toolchain experience.
