To thrive in this position, we expect a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program, along with state licensure as a Physical Therapist. While specialized certifications, such as those focusing on geriatric or neurological care, are beneficial, they are not required. Strong communication skills and previous experience treating patients with complex mobility issues are highly valued. You should be comfortable with digital charting and clinical documentation systems as you navigate the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare.
