Key Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Advise medical staff on drug therapy, side effects, dosages, and inventory management.
• Conduct medication use reviews; educate patients on proper drug use.
• Maintain pharmaceutical care quality, including adherence to HIPAA and state regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor patient progress and outcomes.
• Prepare guidelines on drug use and participate in budget and expenditure reporting.
• Mentor pharmacy, medical, and nursing students in practical and theoretical knowledge.
• Provide pharmaceutical consultation to long-term care facilities monthly.
• Participate in facility and community committees as needed.

• Exposure to biohazardous materials and occasional unpleasant odors or noises.
• Adherence to safety protocols regarding hazardous drugs, including annual respirator fitting.
