Accounting Manager

Location: Virginia Beach, VA (fully onsite) Type: Contract Compensation: $45-50/hr Our client, a property management firm, is looking to add a interim Accounting Manager to their growing team. This opportunity sits in the client's Virginia Beach headquarters five days a week. A bachelor's degree and experience in the real estate or property management field is required. Oversee accounting timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met Review work prepared by staff and senior accountants for accuracy and completeness Manage and participate in month-end close activities Prepare and post journal entries Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reviews Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for account activity Maintain and monitor recurring general ledger activities Track and reconcile utility-related accounting activity Ensure financial statements and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time Prepare and support financial reporting requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
