Tier 2 Desktop Support Specialist

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in Tier 2 desktop support, hardware deployment, and operating system troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft SCCM (MECM) and Intune for device health, software deployment, and compliance.

• Experience with configuring, repairing, and troubleshooting Windows workstations, laptops, docking stations, and Mac hardware.

• Experience in installing, configuring, and supporting network multifunction printers, scanners, and peripherals.

• Experience with IT service management ticketing systems such as Remedy for incident tracking.

• Experience in enterprise LAN/WAN network troubleshooting, TCP/IP protocols, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop (RDP).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on Tier 2 technical support for workstations, laptops, operating systems, and network peripherals.

• Remediate broken SCCM client agents and deploy software patches to maintain endpoint compliance.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot multifunction printers, scanners, and docking station connectivity.

• Manage incident queues, update ticket progress, and document resolutions in Remedy.

• Execute hardware assemblies, diagnostic testing, and system imaging across enterprise networked environments.

• Collaborate with Active Directory, Network, and Information Security teams to resolve complex technical escalations.

• Author technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and hardware troubleshooting guides.
