Precision Grinder Machinist

Petronis Industries is a tier-two precision manufacturer that has been serving a variety of industries since 1969. Focused on tight-tolerance work, including prototype and custom diamond and carbide contacts, gages, and related precision components, Petronis Industries is seeking a full-time Manual Surface Grinder to join their team in Wixom. Full-Time, Monday-Friday First Shift, 6am-3:30pm *Overtime Available Hourly Pay Commensurate with Experience Responsibilities: Manual Surface Grinding Make Offsets & Adjustments to Machines with Minimal Supervision Maintain orderly, clean work area and adhere to safety procedures Competent in Tight Tolerances +.0005 Qualifications: 3-5 years+ Background in Precision Machining, job shop Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a manufacturing team.
