Hybrid AZ/CA Construction / Insurance Litigation Attorney 5+

DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled attorney with substantial experience in construction and insurance litigation to join our law firm client's team in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex legal matters, including both litigation and transactional work. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid or remote work arrangement, provided the candidate resides in proximity to the Phoenix office. Multi-State licensure (Arizona required and California highly preferred).Responsibilities:• Manage a diverse portfolio of construction-related legal cases, including litigation and transactional matters.• Represent design professionals, construction contractors, manufacturers, and property owners in various legal disputes.• Handle insurance-related claims and collaborate closely with insurance carriers.• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts for multi-million and multi-billion-dollar construction projects.• Provide legal counsel on lien actions, claims assistance, and dispute resolution during construction projects.• Oversee mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings for high-value cases.• Assist with appellate matters, ensuring comprehensive representation for clients.• Address catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases arising from construction and business projects.• Develop strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers through effective communication and strategic guidance.• Stay current on legal trends and regulations impacting the construction and insurance industries.Requirements• A minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on construction and insurance litigation.• Licensed to practice law in Arizona and preferably also California• Proven experience representing clients in complex litigation matters.• Strong understanding of construction law, including contract negotiation and claims management.• Ability to manage high-value cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to client relations.• Familiarity with mediation, arbitration, and appellate procedures.• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectivelyJob typePerm
