Position: Health Room Assistant (Licensed Practical Nurse)

We are seeking a Health Room Assistant with Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credentials to join our team at an elementary school in the local area. This role is vital in providing health support to students while ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.

Job Details

Contract Dates: ASAP - June 17, 2027
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:10 AM - 3:10 PM (7 hours per day)
Location: Chambers Prairie Elementary, Olympia, WA

Responsibilities

Provide health assistance to students during school hours.
Ensure that the health room is adequately stocked and maintained.
Monitor the health needs of students and respond to medical emergencies.
Adhere to school policies and procedures, remaining on campus while students are present.

Requirements

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington State (single state or compact).
Previous experience in a healthcare or school setting preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Skills in patient monitoring and health assessment.

Work Environment

The Health Room Assistant role operates within a school setting, where supervision and care for students are key priorities. The candidate must be prepared to work closely with children and be attentive to their health needs.
