What You'll Do

• Support attorneys in all phases of matrimonial and family law litigation
• Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, including:
  • Summonses and complaints
  • Motions and supporting papers
  • Financial disclosure materials
  • Affidavits and stipulations
  • Discovery demands and responses
  • Settlement agreements
• Manage case files from intake through resolution
• Coordinate court filings and calendaring deadlines
• Assist with trial preparation, hearing preparation, and mediation support
• Organize and analyze financial records, tax returns, and other case-related documents
• Communicate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel
• Maintain accurate case management records and litigation files

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of family law or matrimonial law experience
• Strong knowledge of New York family law and court procedures
• Experience drafting litigation-related documents
• Ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Experience supporting attorneys in contested divorce and custody matters strongly preferred
