High Performance Computing (HPC) System Administrator, Analyst, Onsite - Tucson, AZ

Responsibilities Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment, helping to develop and implement new technologies based on industry best practices. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve high‑scope, complex technical problems, including the integration of High‑Performance Computing (HPC) hardware, software, and operating systems. Understand and work with software tools, automated scripts, batch schedulers, and hardware to lead and support the engineering community. Perform operating‑system tuning to maximize system performance on HPC systems. Standardize processes and procedures across Digital Technology functions. Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements. Provide documentation and training on advanced DT HPC processes and procedures. Mentor junior team members. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and less than 2 years of relevant experience, or a total of 4 years of relevant technical experience in IT or Digital Technology. Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility. Experience in Windows and/or Linux Server environments, including directory services management and system hardening. Must obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and an operating‑system certification within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications High‑Performance Computing experience in a Linux environment. Project leadership experience in a DT domain and scripting proficiency. Experience maintaining a medium‑sized Microsoft Windows Server environment and with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Knowledge of HPC scheduling and monitoring tools such as SLURM, Grid Engine, and Ganglia. Advanced hands‑on experience with Windows and Unix security hardening, systems integration, advanced troubleshooting, and LDAP authentication services. Experience in medium to high‑complexity environments, including Unix (Linux and Solaris). Active DoD Secret or Top‑Secret clearance preferred. Benefits Competitive salary range: $57,200 – $108,800.
