Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating asphalt transfer machines on commercial or highway projects
Daily travel required, Must have reliable transportation
Strong understanding of hot mix asphalt handling, material flow, and distribution techniques
Commitment to strict adherence to job site safety protocols, traffic control, and hot mix handling procedures

Responsibilities

Operate asphalt transfer machines to move and distribute hot mix asphalt from trucks to pavers efficiently and safely
Monitor and control material flow to ensure consistent supply to the paving operation
Adjust machine settings and conveyor speed to maintain proper asphalt placement and minimize material loss
Coordinate with truck drivers, paver operators, and crew members to maintain smooth workflow
Perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, and minor troubleshooting on transfer equipment
