Director of Revenue Cycle Management

Location: Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33319
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $100,000+ annually, based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead revenue cycle operations for a growing behavioral healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will have strong behavioral health RCM experience , expertise in Florida Medicaid/MCOs , and hands-on Netsmart EHR experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient access, eligibility, coding, billing, denials, A/R, collections, and revenue integrity.
• Monitor RCM KPIs and identify revenue leakage and improvement opportunities.
• Lead denial management, payer/provider enrollment, and billing compliance.
• Improve Netsmart EHR billing configuration and claims workflows.
• Develop RCM dashboards and performance reports.
• Lead and develop revenue cycle staff.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Clinical, and Compliance teams on process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, commercial payer, and state/federal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive RCM experience , including 2+ years in senior leadership .
• Significant behavioral health revenue cycle experience required .
• Experience with primary care, FQHC , or community health center RCM preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, commercial payers, claims, denials, A/R, and collections.
• Netsmart EHR experience required.
• Florida Medicaid and Florida Medicaid MCO experience required.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and process-improvement skills.
