Details Acute care teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation and 317 staffed beds Tele Float unit with ability to also work Med/Surg as needed Patient ratio of 1:5 12-hour shifts available in Day (7:00-19:30) or Night (19:00-7:30) rotations Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals required based on facility needs Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required Requirements Active RN license (MN license required, pending license accepted) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Prior travel nursing experience required Epic/Excellian charting experience required Minimum 1 supervisor reference required for consideration Additional Information Provide telemetry-level nursing care with skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams Experience with cardiac drips, thrombolytic agents, and PCA management preferred Navy blue scrubs required Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months prior to starting RTO ideally limited to no more than 5 days during the assignment First-time travelers are not accepted for this position American Traveler Job ID P-741468.
