Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Administer physical therapy treatments under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques.
• Systematically progress patients through treatment stages, monitoring their recovery and adapting treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving capabilities.
• Meticulously document all patient interactions, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and electronic medical record (EMR) standards.
• Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic protocols, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to facilitate ongoing recovery.
• Maintain a constant line of communication with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and a supportive rehabilitation environment.
• Engage in continuous professional development, including attending workshops and collaborative team meetings to enhance clinical skills and keep abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions, including fractures, sprains, and post-operative care. Our patient demographic is diverse, encompassing athletes seeking to return to sports, individuals recovering from surgery, and chronic pain sufferers. Your role will be pivotal in restoring their functional abilities and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A current Florida Physical Therapy License is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
