Accounts Receivable Clerk

Maintains accounts receivable records. Takes appropriate collection action on accounts more than 30 days old. Reconciles and deposits all monies received by the dealership.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintains Customer Satisfaction at or above company standards
• Reconcile and prepare daily cash deposit, consisting of service deposits and parts receipts, including charge cards, on a daily basis
• Reconcile and process daily credit card deposit
• Receipts all monies received from vehicle sales, checks for money due, and provides drafts for dealer signature.
• Files all cash receipt records, check stubs, and bank receipts
• Enter finalized cash receipts and update receivable ledger
• Research and process bad checks for collection
• Maintain sales tax exempt information
• Research and answer all receivable and vendor inquiries

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable clerk in a dealership
• High School Diploma or GED required, specifically proficiency in Excel
• Basic Accounting knowledge
• Microsoft Office experience required, specifically proficiency in Excel
• CDK experience a plus
• Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction results
• Team-oriented
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, Background check, and pre-employment drug test
• Valid Driver License
• Professional Appearance
• Good Customer Service Skills
