Description

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract, with new grads welcome and a strong focus on neurological patient populations.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 80 staffed beds
• Patient population spans all ages, with an average age of 65; predominantly adult but occasional pediatric cases
• Case mix is approximately 60% neurological (spinal cord injuries, strokes, MS, ALS, Parkinson's) and 40% other diagnoses
• Productivity expectation of 6–6.5 hours of direct patient care per day, with 6–7 patients seen for approximately 1 hour each
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00–15:00), no weekend requirements
• EMR: WellSky

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• New graduates are accepted for this position
• Experience with neurological patient populations preferred given the unit's case mix
• Ability to meet productivity standards of 6–6.5 hours of direct care per day
