User Experience DesignerOur client, a leading organization in the SaaS and eCommerce industry, is seeking a User Experience Designer to join their team. As a User Experience Designer, you will be part of the Product Design department supporting the Gift & Stored Value team. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, innovative thinking, and a proactive attitude.Location: New York, NY (On-site required 3 to 5 days a week at 1 Broadway, New York, NY; flexibility to be onsite as needed)What's the Job?Enhance and develop tokenized design systems within Figma, building scalable UI components and templatesSupport UX/UI design initiatives across merchant management SaaS platforms and eCommerce storefrontsCollaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to translate requirements into high-quality user experiencesContribute to the creation of an interactive UI toolkit, likely utilizing StorybookParticipate in multiple project phases, from design system grooming to product feature design and implementationWhat's Needed?4+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, clean UI, and atomic design system workProficiency in building and extending tokenized design systems and familiarity with atomic design methodologyExperience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and IllustratorBasic front-end coding skills, including HTML/CSS; experience with Storybook is a plusExperience collaborating with product managers and engineers, with a problem-solving mindset and ability to manage time effectivelyWhat's in it for me?Opportunity to work on innovative SaaS and eCommerce projects in a dynamic environmentEngagement with a talented and collaborative team of professionalsChance to contribute to scalable design systems and impactful product featuresPotential for contract-to-hire opportunities based on performanceWork in a flexible, inclusive environment that values diversity and innovation
