Floor Person Slots Part Time (Planet Hollywood LV) Las Vegas, NV, United States (On-site) Job Summary The Slot Floor Person is responsible for quickly and accurately performing fills and jackpots on machines, as well as minor repairs. Responsibilities Actively patrol assigned sections looking for opportunities to surprise and delight guests and enhance their slot entertainment experience by creating a fun, high‑energy environment through celebration of slot wins and building players’ perception of luck. Display attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each Moment of Truth interaction throughout the shift. Develop customer loyalty by delivering unparalleled guest interactions as directed by company‑trained initiatives. Clearly communicate the functionality of Slot Floor operations (e.g., Fast Cash – ticket in/ticket out). Respond to customer service requests in the correct order, including slot dispatch, slot candle lights, radio, and customers, while meeting or exceeding department service standards. Verify and countersign hand‑paid jackpots. Resolve guest complaints using Service Recovery with a sense of urgency and empathy, within approved levels of authority. Keep slot areas clean, secure, and well maintained. Maintain a professional appearance, excellent personal hygiene, and proper phone etiquette. Exhibit a courteous, friendly, outgoing personality. Demonstrate good organization and communication skills. Apply accuracy and diligence while working in a loud, fast‑paced environment with constant public contact and frequent interruptions. Qualifications One‑year previous slot floor‑person experience preferred. Must be 21 years or older. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to mentally add, subtract, and multiply large amounts of money at a rapid and accurate pace. Possesses ability to understand and comply with company and departmental directives, policies and procedures. Excellent customer relations and communication skills, both written and verbal. Willing to work any day of the week and any shift. Ability to maintain a good relationship with co‑workers and work as a team. Well‑groomed appearance. Gaming License, NV. Additional Requirements Requires continuous standing and walking for the duration of the shift (typically 7 hours). Must tolerate secondary tobacco smoke and maintain pace with peak levels of business and customer demands. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. or more at any given time; able to lift, pull, push, and carry up to 100 lbs. Also able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and twist. Must tolerate stressful situations and frequent interruptions. Maintain accurate count and verify banks when necessary. Must be able to manage and solve any concerns and questions customers may have. Must speak, read, write, and understand English. Must tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
