Location: Outpatient Clinic – Cary, NC Job Type: Full-Time(40 hours) | Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour Sign on bonus: up to $ 1,500(paid after successful completion of 90days probationary period in 2 instalments with 1 year commitment) Start Date: Immediate About Us Care First Rehab is a therapist-owned, interdisciplinary rehabilitation company with over 25 years of experience. We provide Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy services. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Office / Patient Services Specialist to join our team in Cary, NC. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent service and supporting our clinical team. This is a full-time, in-person position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Serve as the primary point of contact for new and returning patients Collaborate with the billing department for insurance verification, authorizations, and billing coordination Work with the home care scheduler to manage appointments Educate patients and families on insurance coverage and the scheduling process Collect copays and discuss financial arrangements with patients/families Support therapists with patient-related tasks as needed Oversee daily front office operations and administrative duties Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative support and medical office scheduling Ability to work until 6 PM Monday–Thursday and 8 AM–5 PM on Fridays Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth, WebPT) Proficient computer skills and strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Preferred Skills Bilingual (Spanish) Knowledge of insurance systems (Medicare, Medicaid, Workers’ Compensation) Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Calendar) Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(K) with company matching Tuition reimbursement and tuition assistance programs Relocation assistance available Join the Care First Family If you’re ready to make a difference in the lives of others and be part of a supportive, growth-focused team, we’d love to hear from you.
