Overview This position is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the employer and is responsible for employment matters at the restaurant (hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, scheduling). McDonald’s USA has no involvement in employment decisions, and will not receive a copy of your employment application. Role Guest Experience Leader (part-time) at a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The role may be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to fit the business needs. Responsibilities Greet guests and communicate with them while taking orders Assist customers with using ordering kiosks Provide help to guests who need extra assistance Check in with guests after they receive their food to ensure satisfaction and address any needs Ensure children receive a kid’s treat when appropriate Handle guest concerns Communicate with the restaurant team to relay feedback and recommendations Qualifications and Requirements Outstanding attitude, willingness to learn and grow, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment You must be 16 years of age or older to work as a Guest Experience Leader at a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant (note: this may apply similarly at franchisee-operated locations; refer to the franchisee for specifics) Benefits and Perks Competitive pay Medical, dental and vision coverage 401(k) with matching contributions Paid time off equal to 2% of gross earnings Unpaid leaves of absence Education through Archways to Opportunity, including opportunities to earn a High School degree, college tuition assistance and English language classes as a second language Discount programs Free meals / meal discounts Additional Information This job posting contains some information about what it is like to work in a McDonald’s restaurant, but it is not a complete job description.
