Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Women & Infants Hospital NICU, Providence, RI

Join our dedicated team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as a Registered Nurse. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care to neonates in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details:

• Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Schedule: Weeknights and weekends, 36 hours/week, three 12-hour shifts
• Flex position; shifts predominantly at night

Contract Dates:

• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• End Date: January 2, 2027

Holidays Required:

• Veterans Day (November 11, 2026)
• Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2026)
• Christmas Eve (December 24, 2026)
• Christmas Day (December 25, 2026)
• New Year's Eve (December 31, 2026)
• New Year's Day (January 1, 2027)

Requirements:

• Active RN license (or compact, if applicable to RI)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification preferred (confirm with unit for necessity)
• Minimum of 1-2 years recent NICU experience (Level II/III experience preferred)
• Experience with vent/high-acuity neonates is preferred

Vaccination Requirements:

• Influenza vaccine required
• COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions)

Additional Information:

Candidates who have no time off requests will be given preference. Strong candidates meeting the qualifications may be fast-tracked for consideration without a full interview.
