Pay: up to $60 per visit-Per‑visit or hourly compensation (rates vary by visit type and case) Job Type: Full‑Time or Part‑Time (1099 Independent Contractor) Location: Oviedo, FL -(Patient Homes) About the Opportunity Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy treatment visits to patients in their homes throughout the Oviedo, FL area. This role focuses on treatment visits performed under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist , with compensation structured per visit or hourly depending on the case and service provided . This position is ideal for PTAs who are confident working independently in the field, understand home‑health workflows, and value accurate clinical documentation. Flexible Compensation Structure Compensation may be per visit or hourly , depending on the case Visit rates vary based on service type and patient needs Flexible Scheduling PRN, per‑diem, or flexible caseloads Visit schedules coordinated based on PTA availability and patient needs Key Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy treatment visits as outlined in the Plan of Care Carry out therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising PT Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety strategies Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team Complete accurate, timely, and defensible clinical documentation Documentation Expectations PTA documentation is used to: Track patient progress toward therapy goals Support PT oversight and clinical decision‑making Meet payer and regulatory documentation requirements Timely, detailed visit notes are essential.
