In this role, you'll play a crucial part in helping students develop their communication skills, while covering a leave of absence at a school setting near Claremont, CA. This is a fantastic chance to make an immediate impact with a flexible schedule—just three days per week, plus attendance at IEP meetings as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences
• Active California SLP license and ASHA CCCs required
• Prior experience working in school environments strongly preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnership with teachers, staff, and families
• Familiarity with conducting and participating in IEP meetings

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop individualized therapy plans to meet each student’s unique needs
• Attend IEP meetings, contributing expertise as needed
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with teachers and other school staff to support students’ academic and personal growth
• Provide both direct and consultative services in accordance with best practices and school requirements

This contract assignment is available for an immediate start, with hours from 8:00am to 2:45pm, covering three days each week in addition to IEP meetings.
