Triangle Fastener Corporation is seeking a local detail-oriented and service-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team in our Sales Team in our Richmond, VA branch at 6529 Dickens Pl, Richmond, VA 23230. You'll serve as the first point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email-based customer inquiries, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and successful sales experience. In this position, you'll support both individual customers and the Outside Sales teammanaging quotes, orders, and day-to-day customer service that keeps projects on track and clients coming back. While this is an Associate-level opportunity open to all backgrounds, it is the perfect experience for recent college graduates and sales professionals growing from entry-level sales.

As an Inside Sales Representative, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing timely and accurate customer quotes via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
• Handling walk-in sales and guiding customers through product selections
• Entering and processing orders with precision and speed
• Collaborating with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure stock levels meet demand
• Coordinating delivery schedules and providing updates to customers
• Supporting the Outside Sales team by managing backend processes and customer follow-ups
• Maintaining a clean and professional showroom and promoting featured products
• Addressing and resolving customer issues proactively and professionally
• Preparing and sending product samples, catalogs, and credit applications
• Reviewing open sales reports and ensuring data integrity
• Pulling counter orders as needed to ensure timely customer service
• Working closely with the Branch Operations Manager and other sales staff daily

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/365

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

• Ability to learn and operate company software, including CSD

Ideal Background of Successful Candidates:

Required - Preferred

Experience - 1+ year in sales-based customer service or related position - 3+ years in inside sales or similar position

Education - High School Diploma or GED - Associate's degree in business, sales, or related field
