Patient Intake Representative

Labcorp seeks a Patient Intake Representative for its Somerset, New Jersey location to manage patient scheduling, registration, and specimen preparation. The role involves front-desk operations, insurance verification, data entry, and administrative support in a diagnostic testing facility.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and greet patients upon arrival
- Register patients, collect demographics, and verify insurance coverage
- Collect and prepare specimens for testing when needed
- Call physician offices to confirm test order accuracy
- Monitor patient wait times and notify supervisor of issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year or more customer service experience
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to pass colorblindness test
- Six months healthcare patient-facing experience preferred
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
Compensation: $17.75–$24.00 hourly
