About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on government contracts to join their global team. The successful candidate will be a key player in managing the organization's contractual legal affairs, providing strategic legal advice, and supporting the business in all aspects of government contracting, both domestically and internationally. This role requires a seasoned legal professional with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, a minimum of 15 years' of legal experience, and a strong background in government contracts, including a deep understanding of the FAR and DFARS. The Assistant General Counsel will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, from bid and proposal advice to contract compliance, and will be expected to work cross-functionally to identify and mitigate legal risks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in legal and compliance issues, the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders, and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
