As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in NEWARK, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access activity, assist employees and visitors with professionalism, and bring strong communication, teamwork, and integrity to a role that values reliability, innovation, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, vehicle traffic issues, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of people, packages, and/or vehicles at designated points, verifying authorized access and following post instructions related to shipping and receiving operations.
• Support order at the location by observing for hazards, policy violations, and/or operational disruptions, then communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
